Origin
When Robin and Nico, with their young and still unknown startup in the luxury fragrance industry, no longer knew whether to continue, they held on to their dream. Surrounded by established players in a highly competitive market, the path seemed uncertain. After two years of hard work came the first milestone. New energy was ignited, and pernoire rose like a phoenix from the ashes. Otimo stands for this pride. In Portuguese, it colloquially means “well done,” reflecting the pride in one’s own achievement.
Composition
Otimo opens with the fruity elegance of quince, refined by the spice of cardamom and the depth of rum. At its heart unfolds a warm accord of tobacco, sweet praline, and noble rose, carried by cedarwood. The base of vanilla, musk, patchouli, and amber gives the composition richness, persistence, and an intense lasting trail.
