Conversely to Fragrance du Bois' other perfume devoted to New York's 5th Avenue, New York Intense represents the vibrant summer time in NYC. Made by the famous French master perfumer Pierre Gueros, it's a perfume that is irresistible and unique, just like the draw of the Big Apple itself.
The top note is spicy, with cinnamon, coriander and bay leaf seasoning up the citrus heavy rush of orange, blackberry and rose to create the perfect opening accord for the balsmic, woody heart that follows where honeyed guaiac woods are dotted with cloves and immortelle flowers and olibanum resin are made thick with vanilla. Enriched power chords such as these require a carefully considered base to enhance them so Gueros uses a combination of vetiver, cedarwood, oud, myrhh, patchouli, musk, labdanum and oakmoss to amplify and extend the varied facets.
