In creating Amouroud’s Oud Tabac, perfumer Ilias Ermenidis had in mind something deliciously intoxicating and sensuous that was unforgettable and addictive. It starts out with the somewhat spicy and bracing top notes of coriander and ginger, alongside saffron’s bright leather-and-honey quality and the airy, sweet heliotrope. At its heart is an accord of oud, olibanum and amber wood that is like an intoxicating hug, delicious and forever memorable. In the dry-down, the oriental quality takes over and you are wrapped in toasted caramel notes of vanilla bourbon, balsamic and ambery cistus, musks, Alaskan cedarwood and guaiacwood. This rounds out an enticing and irresistable fragrance that gives each wearer a sense of personal attraction and magnetism.
